Position Overview:
Growthsphere is seeking a skilled Integration Engineer to join our team in Bangalore. The Integration Engineer will play a key role in integrating external data sources with our proprietary systems, enabling seamless access to valuable data for analysis and decision-making.
Responsibilities:
- Integration Development: Design, develop, and implement integrations between external data sources and our internal systems. This includes data ingestion, transformation, and synchronization processes.
- Data Mapping: Work closely with stakeholders to understand data requirements and map data fields between different systems. Ensure data consistency and integrity throughout the integration process.
- API Development: Develop and maintain APIs (Application Programming Interfaces) for accessing and retrieving data from external sources. Implement authentication and authorization mechanisms as needed.
- Data Quality Assurance: Perform data validation and quality assurance checks to ensure the accuracy and completeness of integrated data. Identify and address data inconsistencies or errors.
- Monitoring and Maintenance: Monitor integration processes and performance metrics to ensure reliability and efficiency. Proactively troubleshoot and resolve integration issues as they arise.
- Documentation: Document integration processes, data mappings, and API specifications. Create user guides and training materials to support internal users in accessing integrated data.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including data scientists, software engineers, and business analysts, to understand data requirements and deliver integrated solutions.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in data integration and API development. Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
- 3-5 years of experience in integration engineering or a similar role.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or SQL.
- Experience with data integration tools and technologies,
- Strong understanding of RESTful APIs and web services.
- Familiarity with data formats and protocols, including JSON, XML, and SOAP.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
